By removing roof tiles and securing the system directly to the roof trusses the visual impact of the system can be less intrusive. The panels sit flush with the existing roof tiles and give an aesthetically pleasing appearance.

There are a number of options when looking at in roof systems available from a number of manufacturers. Standard PV modules can be accommodated using either the Schucho or Schletter in roof systems or solar slates and tiles can be used as pictured above. Each system has its merits and the decision really comes down to type of existing roof tiles and budget.
