Flat roof solar installations are often used on large commercial projects where factory or warehouse roofs are taken advantage of but there is no problem installing a flat roof system on a garage or out building.

A flat roof solar installation requires the panels to be angled to 30 degrees to maximise generation. This is done using a flat roof mounting system. The panels are attached in much the same way as the on roof systems to an aluminium frame. This frame is then secured to the roof either directly using screws or rivets or weighted down using concrete or some other balast.
