What is a G59 Application

The requirements of Engineering recommendation G59/2 are that for systems over 3.6kW per phase a G59 application should be made to the Distribution Network Operator (DNO) to obtain permission to connect to the grid.

As part of our installation service we are able to liase with the DNO and also make the G59 application on the customers behalf. The whole G59 process from application to connection can take a number of months so putting the wheels in motion as soon as possble is advisable.

We have G59 trained technicians who have experience in making G59 applications and liasing with the DNO operators.
