G59 Solar PV Grid Connections
What is a G59 Application
The requirements of Engineering recommendation G59/2 are that for systems over 3.6kW per phase a G59 application should be made to the Distribution Network Operator (DNO) to obtain permission to connect to the grid.
We have G59 trained design and electrical engineers who have gained practical experience of working on a range of commercial projects.
As part of our installation service we are able to liase with the DNO and also make the G59 application on the customers behalf. The whole G59 process from application to connection can take a number of months so putting the wheels in motion as soon as possble is advisable.
Our G59 trained technicians have experience in successfully making G59 applications and liasing with the DNO operators.
