Water Cylinders and Storage Tanks

The nature of solar thermal water heating means there must be a water cylinder or storage tank linked with the system. The cylinder must have at least 2 coils to allow both a conventional heating method and also the solar thermal panel to heat the water.

There are lots of cylinder manufacturers and suppliers out there but essentially they all provide the same function; they store water to be heated. We have long favoured Navitron cylinders because they produce very well designed and made unvented cylinders, provide excellent customer support and are always available to answer any technical questions we fire at them.

The size of the unvented cyclinder we use will depend on the size of system we have designed for your property and the number of people using water in it.
